2026 Child protection events at Sunnybank Community Preschool and Kindergarten Association Inc.

Bravehearts Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Shows will be delivered to both kindergarten groups in August 2026, based on presenter availability. Families will also be invited to attend the performances during the kindergarten day, with further information and invitations to be distributed via email in Term 3.

To coincide with Child Protection Week in September 2026, the kindergarten will facilitate a range of activities designed to promote awareness of child safety and wellbeing. Children will participate in art activities, with completed artworks displayed on the kindergarten fence throughout Child Protection Week to help raise community awareness of child protection. A special morning tea will also be held with the children to acknowledge the week. In addition, educators will share and discuss age-appropriate books that support the Child Protection Week theme and encourage conversations about safety, wellbeing, and seeking help from trusted adults.
