Our child protection Week event will occur on Wednesday 4th September 2024, at Western Suburbs Kindergarten, Aitkenvale, Townsville, between 3:30 – 5pm. Our Open Afternoon will include Child protection week displays of local service providers, a visiting police car, face painting, cake stall, and displays of children’s artwork created around the theme of staying safe. Families and prospective enrolments are invited to take a look through the centre, have a chat with our friendly team and have a play in our outdoor play spaces. Children’s artwork will also be on display at two local libraries, promoting the Kindergarten and drawing conversation around Child protection themes amount visitors / families viewing the works.
