What Families Need to Know About Safeguarding Children
Keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility and as part of this special, online event, BBSafe and Connecting The Dots Through Culture will give families, educators and organisations working with children practical tools and insights into how Play Matters upholds child safety and how you can be part of creating safe environments for all children. This session will cover cultural safety through the Universal Principle which underpins the 10 Child Safe Standards.

The session will:
• Outline Play Matters Australia’s child safeguarding approach, including the steps it is taking to implement Queensland’s Child Safe Standards.
• Set out what children and families should expect from an organisation which prioritises child safeguarding.
• Learn what to do if you have any concerns or issues.
