Churches of Christ Care South West Foster, Kinship and Intensive Foster Care Service will hold a “Carnival/Fete afternoon with BBQ dinner” to celebrate Child Protection Week 2018. Staff and carers will attend along with the children and young people in their care. Attendees will be encouraged to dress up in carnival theme. We will invite government and non-government agencies to set up a stand to give information to children and young people and their carer families of what services are available in the community. We will invite services such as Pyjama Foundation, Create, Community Visitors, Kambu, Bravehearts and Headspace to attend. We will promote this to all other Fostering agencies in the region and also all Churches of Christ Care services to support interagency relationships.
