We are hosting a private event catering to the 90 families who will be enrolled with us at Atherton Kindergarten in 2026. The event will allow new families to meet the staff, see the Kindy program and play in our learning environment. All new families will receive a storybook regarding Child Protection – “My Underpants Rule” in their enrolment packs. Prior to even commencing Kindergarten we want families to know they are in a child safe environment where protective behaviours are fundamental in our curriculum and we want to empower children with protective behaviours. Protecting children is everybody’s business. In term 3 we will also be hosting an event inviting Tableland Sexual Assault Service to talk with parents and staff about protecting children.
