Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson Livestream Event

Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson (ABCSL) is an annual initiative of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. In a livestreamed online format, ABCSL is an engaging, educational video that teaches age-appropriate personal safety strategies. ABCSL provides schools, early learning centres, and families with the tools to engage in conversations about child safety.
Communicating about consent in a respectful way can help children assert their right to stay comfortable and enforce their right to stay safe. ABCSL 2024 focuses on the concepts of ‘my body, my choice’, and strategies children can then use when they need to seek, give or deny consent (permission).
ABCSL has been created with 2 educational resources, the first for Upper Primary Aged Students which will be livestreamed at 10am AEST and the second for Early Years and Lower Primary Aged Students which will be livestreamed at 9am AEST.
