Following on from the Bundaberg Region Youth Scholarship Awards event on 5 September, winners of the BRYSA scholarships will take part in safe storytelling; sharing their stories in a variety of formats to their peers.

The purpose of safe storytelling is for the winners to inspire their fellow peers who may have experienced similar barriers to education or training, by sharing their individual stories of how they were able to overcome certain difficulties or obstacles in their lives in pursuit of personal objectives.

Storytelling sessions will be held in a variety of locations across the Bundaberg Region
