The Family Fun Day and Expo events will highlight both the protective behaviors necessary to ensure children are safe and the availability of support services to help vulnerable families. The aim of each Expo is to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect as an issue within local Australian communities by softly introducing a range of support services and programs to local families in an informal and accessible format.  Our Family Fun Day and Expo will host a range of individual and group activities to welcome families and develop important social and emotional skills.

Monday, 06/09/21 at Memorial Park, Connor Street, Burleigh Heads (Southern event), 3:00pm to 5:30pm – This event is scheduled to commence after school to encourage school children and their parents to attend. Activities and entertainment will encourage children and families to participate while stallholders will provide information and resources about local programs/services to support family wellbeing.
