The Benevolent Society and Act For Kids are hosting a morning of free family fun activities at Yorkeys Knob Community Centre Park, Yorkeys Knob, Cairns on Thursday 5th September 2024. Our event will celebrate Child Protection Week and promote the message that protecting children is everybody’s business.
The event features entertainment – animal exhibit, jumping castle and face painting – along with local agencies and services providing children’s activities and information stalls. A scavenger hunt will entice families to interact with the agencies to learn more about services supporting children and families in the Northern Beaches area of Cairns. Once families complete their scavenger hunt forms they go in the draw for fun prizes, donated by local businesses.
