Backbone Youth Arts presents a unique perspective on child protection, created exclusively by participants of our Young Creators Program. Together our Skill Builders (Age 8-12) and our Young Makers (Age 12-18) raise their voices to express what empowers them. They will participate in a Child Protection workshop that teaches them about their rights, safety and gives them agency to stand up for themselves and others, because child protection is everybody’s business. As a part of this presentation, there will be both an online gallery created by our Young Creators available for viewing by our wider community through the Backbone website and a physical art installation at the Seven Hill Hub.
