Climbing, Cooking & Connection – Celebrating Families for Child Protection Week

Join us for a special Climbing & Pizza evening hosted by FNQ Nature Quest in celebration of Child Protection Week – a time to recognise the importance of strong, supportive connections within families and communities.

Held at the beautiful The Northern Outlook just minutes from Cairns, this free family-focused event takes place on the grounds of 200 acres of lush rainforest and features the region’s best indoor climbing wall. Designed for families of all abilities, this evening offers a shared adventure in a relaxed, supportive environment. No climbing experience is needed – our session is beginner friendly, fun, and suitable for all ages! This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, trust and teamwork – all essential elements of strong family connections.

After the climb we’ll gather outdoors to cook pizzas together using specialised pizza ovens. Here you can learn a new skill, get hands on with the process, and share the simple joy of cooking a meal under the stars.

Connection is at the heart of this event. Whether it’s through conquering a climb side-by-side or creating dinner as a team, Climbing & Connection is about coming together, supporting each other, and making memories. Strong families help to protect and nurture children, and this event is all about strengthening those ties in a fun, engaging way.

Places are limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible! We would love to share an evening with you and your family. Let’s climb, connect, and share a slice of something special!
