Cool Chats for Kids is a community event to be hosted by the Lovewell Café – a social enterprise which partners with Lovewell Foundation – a charity that helps women rebuild their lives. We are inviting kids and their carers to join us on Friday afternoon 9th of September from 3:00-5:00pm at the café for a free ice-cream for kids and free tea/coffee or ice-cream for carers. All guests will be provided with a complimentary tote bag filled with kid friendly conversation starter tools and resources surrounding child safety. Some of the resources we intend on distributing in these bags are from Daniel Morcombe Foundation, the “Keeping Kids Safe” activities that promote child safety education. We will be placing flyers/brochures of organisations that can assist families if believe they or someone else safety is at risk.
