CREATE Foundation’s Youth Advisory Groups (YAGs) are a youth empowerment program that provide young people with an out-of-home care experience an opportunity to have their voices heard. YAG meetings provide the opportunity for young people – in care or who have left care – to talk about issues they are facing in the care system. During Child Protection Week, the issue for discussion will be Connection to Family and Community. We would like to invite young people aged 14-25 to participate in either our in-person session from 5-7pm at Visible Ink in Fortitude Valley, or for those outside the metro area we will also be hosting a state-wide session online from 4-pm.
