Our project is dedicated to reflecting the aims and theme of Child Protection Week – “Protecting Children is Everybody’s Business” – within our local community.
By embedding protective strategies in our practices, we aim to create a safe and nurturing environment for children. The grant will enable us to purchase educational materials that focus on safe and unsafe practices, body recognition and awareness, body safety, empowerment, feelings, and identifying safe people in our community.
Through these resources, we will empower children with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves and recognise safe environments.
Our gallery event will showcase the voices of the children through their artwork, highlighting their understanding and perspectives on safety and protection. (Will be on throughout the week to view and enjoy)
We are inviting; families, team members, and the broader community to participate and view our art work as we emphasize the collective responsibility in safeguarding children.
“Together, we can ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and protected in our community because protecting children is everybody’s business.”
