St Paul’s Catholic Primary School is located in the low socio-economic suburb of Woodridge, Logan. It is a diverse and vibrant community, with approximately 360 students attending from a diverse range of cultures. To recognise the important theme of Child Protection is everyone’s business, the school will host a free sausage sizzle for all staff and students (approximately 400 people) during Child Protection Week. This will coincide with a range of child protection lessons and activities facilitated by class teachers and support staff to raise awareness of child protection amongst students and their families. As part of the health curriculum, students will learn about personal safety and how to recognise, react and report any feelings of being uncomfortable.
