Brisbane Softball Association are hosting an inaugural Queensland Child Protection Week Come & Try Softball event with the theme, ‘There’s nothing soft about Softball – protecting children through engagement in sport’. The event will focus on the health and other developmental needs of children participating in a team sport environment with lots of fun thrown in!

Girls and boys 4 – 14 years are invited to come along to participate in fun, skills based activities to start their softball experience or try softball again! Children will receive a t-shirt and Sample Bag and engage in the Queensland Child Protection Week art activity along with fun and engaging softball activities – throwing, catching, batting, running bases, simulated game play – no experience necessary.

Current and past Queensland and Australian players will join in to have a chat with participants along with a photo opportunity.
