The Together4Lockyer in partnership with Laidley District State School are providing this unique and special event in the Lockyer. Families with children 5 years and under are welcome to explore the world of early childhood. A range of activities suited to small children are on offer including, arts and craft, face painting, an animal nursery, music, games, story times and emergency service displays and a roaming magician to keep children intrigued.
With a focus on Child Protection using protective factors, there will be a number of information stalls for young families to visit. Also, another impressive feature of the event is a “Pop-Up Health Clinic”, with experienced health nurses available for short consultations and ready to answer any of your questions. Alongside this an Oral Health stall will provide non invasive, fun dental checks with a little advice as follow up. With a coffee van on site and prizes on offer, it will be a great place to visit.
