Festival of Ideas at Holy Spirit College

As part of Queensland Child Protection Week 2026, Holy Spirit College will host its annual Festival of Ideas, a whole-school student voice event. Led by Student Leaders, the Festival empowers students to share their ideas for creating a safer, more inclusive, and supportive school community. Through interactive discussions focused on wellbeing, learning, culture, and aspirations, students will explore key child protection themes, including bullying prevention, help-seeking, and reporting barriers. The day will also feature games, music, a community BBQ, child safety resources, and participation from local support organisations, reinforcing the message that protecting children is everybody’s business.
